CVE-2024-43653Network attack vector

Authenticated root command execution via unneutralized HTTP input

Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

OS command injection in Iocharger Firmware for AC Models before 24120701 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. A redacted firmware binary passes attacker-controlled input from a crafted HTTP request to an OS command without neutralizing command elements. A low-privilege account or an authorized user's execution of the request is required; successful exploitation permits arbitrary file and service changes.
