Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft's Windows USB Video Class driver allows physically proximate attackers to gain SYSTEM privileges. Microsoft identifies Usbvideo.sys as the affected class driver but has not disclosed which parsing operation reads beyond a buffer. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated attacker to connect a malicious USB device directly to the target machine.
