A heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Windows Telephony Service allows remote attackers to execute code through a malicious server connection. Microsoft has not identified the affected parser, field, or incorrect bounds operation within the service. Exploitation requires user interaction that causes a client to connect to an attacker-controlled server, after which code runs in the client security context.
