Use-after-free in Microsoft Windows VMSwitch allows guest OS users to execute code with SYSTEM privileges on the Hyper-V host. A specific series of guest networking requests triggers a use-after-free condition in the VMSwitch driver on the host. The attack requires a low-privilege Hyper-V guest, environment-specific information, and preparatory actions before the crafted request sequence.
