Untrusted pointer dereference in Microsoft Windows Hyper-V Shared Virtual Disk allows remote authenticated users to elevate privileges. The component dereferences an untrusted pointer, but Microsoft has not published the affected function, pointer source, or request structure. Exploitation requires low privileges and network access, needs no user interaction, and can compromise the affected Windows host.
