Authenticated SSRF via DNS-rebound URL imports
Published Jun 7, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SSRF in TablePress 2.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Author access to send requests to internal services. The get_files_to_import() path accepts a user-controlled import URL and relies on wp_safe_remote_get(), allowing DNS rebinding to change the resolved address after validation. Author-level access is required; successful requests can read or modify data exposed by reachable internal services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
