Privilege escalation via insecure RPC transport fallback

Elevation of privilege in Microsoft Windows Remote Registry clients allows remote authenticated users to relay NTLM credentials over RPC. BaseBindToMachine falls back from SMB named pipes to other RPC transports and sets RPC_C_AUTHN_LEVEL_CONNECT, which does not protect connection authenticity or integrity. Exploitation requires a caller that uses the affected WinReg API and an attacker-controlled fallback path; relayed credentials can obtain an AD CS certificate and domain access.
