Stored XSS via unescaped board instance names
Published Aug 1, 2024 · Updated Jan 17, 2025
Stored XSS in Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a board instance name. Dashboard board-instance views render the stored name without HTML escaping; the patch wraps those outputs in h(). Administrator access is required to save the name, and another user's interaction exposes browser-accessible data and actions to the injected script.
