CVE-2024-43479Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via forged tenant tokens

Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Improper access control in Microsoft Power Automate for desktop before 2.47.119.24249 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. Machine-registration trust accepts forged Entra ID tokens after an attacker recreates an AD domain with the target user's SID. Access to a tenant and the target SID is required; a trusted token can launch arbitrary desktop-flow scripts in that user's session.
