CVE-2024-43445Network attack vector

Content spoofing via missing nosniff response header

Published Jan 27, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

Content-type confusion in OTRS and OTRS Community Edition allows remote attackers to make browsers process content as an unintended MIME type. Affected responses omit X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff, permitting browser MIME sniffing to override the intended content type. Exploitation requires a victim to view attacker-supplied content; reported effects are limited to confidentiality and integrity without service interruption.
