Admin-to-admin stored XSS via improper filtering
Published Aug 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024
Stored XSS in the Process Management modules of OTRS and OTRS Community Edition allows remote authenticated users to target other admins. OTRS identifies improper filtering of special elements but has not published the affected field, code path, or escaping failure. Administrative privileges are required to store the payload, which executes in another administrator's browser and can perform actions through that session.
