Secret disclosure via incomplete preset export filtering
Published Nov 11, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Information disclosure in Moodle LMS allows attackers to obtain secrets and keys from shared site administration preset exports. The administration preset exporter serializes sensitive configuration values instead of excluding them from the export package. Exposure requires an administrator to create and share an export with an untrusted third party; integrity and availability are unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <4.1.12
- Affected versionversion=4.2 <4.2.9
- Affected versionversion=4.3 <4.3.6
