Administrative access via immutable hard-coded credentials
Published Sep 24, 2024 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in the web application for ProGauge MagLink LX consoles allow remote attackers to gain administrative access. The console provisions an administrative-level account whose embedded password cannot be changed, leaving the same credential valid across affected deployments. Knowledge of that credential grants the web application's administrative privileges without prior authentication.
