CVE-2024-43416Network attack vector

Email address enumeration via password-reset timing

Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 18, 2024

Information disclosure in GLPI 0.80 through 10.0.16 allows remote attackers to enumerate registered email addresses via password recovery. The User::forgetPassword path performs lookup and notification work whose response time reveals whether the submitted address matches an account. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful probing discloses account-associated email addresses without granting data modification.
