Session-detail disclosure via stored navigation scripts
Published Apr 30, 2024 · Updated Sep 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Adive Framework 2.0.8 allows remote attackers to retrieve an authenticated user's session details through crafted navigation data. The /adive/admin/nav/add endpoint persistently stores multiple user-controlled parameters without sufficient output encoding, causing attacker-supplied script to execute when the stored navigation content is viewed. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to view the stored content, and the reported consequence is session-detail disclosure.
