Cross-site scripting via nonnumeric montagereview parameters
Published Aug 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 13, 2024
Cross-site scripting in ZoneMinder before 1.36.34 and 1.37.0 through 1.37.60 allows remote attackers to execute script via crafted parameters. web/skins/classic/views/montagereview.php applies HTML escaping rather than numeric validation to displayinterval, speed, and scale before inserting them into JavaScript. The vendor rates it unauthenticated with no user interaction, while NVD requires a user to open the crafted request; execution is limited to the page's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
