Stored XSS via unescaped textAlign block attribute
Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Rank Math SEO 1.0.217 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the textAlign block attribute. The schema block renderer in includes/modules/schema/blocks/class-block.php inserts textAlign into page output without adequate input sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script runs whenever a visitor opens the affected page, enabling browser-context data access or actions.
