Subscriber-triggered test emails via missing capability check
Published Nov 1, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Etoile Web Design Order Tracking 3.3.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to send test emails. The send_test_email() function accepts a request from a logged-in subscriber without performing the capability check required for the higher-privileged action. Subscriber-level access is required, and successful exploitation causes the site to initiate test-email delivery rather than granting broader administrative control.
