Contributor-level script execution via unsanitized cursor attribute
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
DOM-based XSS in Supreme Modules Lite for Divi 2.5.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via typing_cursor. The Typing Effect module places typing_cursor content into its cursor-character data attribute without sufficient sanitization or output escaping, and frontend code processes the value in the page DOM. Contributor-level access is sufficient to save the payload in a page, where it executes when that page is accessed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
