Unwanted admin action via missing nonce check
Published Aug 26, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WP User Manager 2.9.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger an unwanted admin action. The old-data repair admin action accepts requests without verifying a WordPress nonce, causing a cross-site request to be treated as intentional. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active session to visit attacker-controlled content; the documented consequence is limited to an unintended data-repair action.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
