Contributor-level stored script execution
Published Aug 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in WP Travel Gutenberg Blocks 3.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. Patchstack has not published the affected block, input field, or missing output-encoding operation that stores the payload. Contributor access is sufficient to plant the payload; execution occurs only when another user visits affected content, allowing the script to act in that visitor's browser context.
