Contributor-level script execution via stored page content
Published Aug 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in GenialSouls Mega Addons For Elementor 1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages. The public CNA and vendor records do not identify the affected widget, input field, or code path, stating only that user-controlled content is stored without adequate neutralization during page generation. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script runs when another user views the crafted page, enabling actions in that viewer's browser context.
