Contributor-level stored cross-site scripting
Published Aug 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Visual Composer Starter 3.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into site content. The public advisories attribute the flaw to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping but do not identify the affected field, function, or rendering path. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored payload executes when another user visits the affected page, exposing that browser session to attacker-controlled script actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
