CVE-2024-43248Network attack vector

Unauthenticated file deletion via unchecked paths

Published Aug 19, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Path traversal in Bit Apps Bit Form Pro 2.6.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary server files without authentication. The plugin accepts attacker-controlled file paths without sufficient validation before deleting the referenced file; public sources do not identify the affected function or request parameter. Any reachable WordPress site running an affected release is exposed, and deleting a critical file can stop the site or enable follow-on code execution.
