Unauthenticated user redirection via unvalidated rf parameter
Published Aug 19, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Open redirection in Easy PayPal & Stripe Buy Now Button 1.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to redirect users via crafted requests. The redirect handler accepts the rf parameter as a destination without sufficient validation before directing the browser to that URL. Exploitation requires a user to act on attacker-controlled content and can send that user from a trusted WordPress site to a phishing site.
