Unauthenticated site takeover via unchecked Facebook login
Published Dec 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in SeventhQueen Sweet Date 3.7.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over a WordPress site. The wp_ajax_fb_intialize handler trusts caller-supplied Facebook user data and a target user ID, then sets an authentication cookie without verifying account ownership or a nonce. Registration must be enabled; crafted HTTP requests can reset any account password and establish an authenticated session as that account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=3.7.3
