Database disclosure via unprepared question ID queries
Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in Themeum Tutor LMS 2.7.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract database data via question_id. Two query paths in classes/Utils.php interpolate insufficiently escaped question_id input into SQL without adequate prepared-statement binding. Instructor-level permissions or higher are required, and time-based inference can disclose sensitive database contents.
