Stored script execution via unescaped widget attributes
Published Aug 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in WPXpro Xpro Elementor Addons 1.4.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. Several Elementor widgets store user-supplied attributes without adequate input sanitization and later render them without sufficient output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to plant the payload, and execution occurs when another user views the affected content, enabling actions in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
