Unauthenticated font-list modification via missing capability check
Published Nov 1, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in TypeSquare Webfonts 2.0.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to update the WordPress font list. The typesquare_admin_init() function processes the font-list update without checking whether the caller has the required WordPress capability. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to unauthorized modification of the stored font list.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
