CVE-2024-43115Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unrestricted alert script path

Published Sep 3, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Improper input validation in Apache DolphinScheduler before 3.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side shell commands. ScriptSender.executeShellScript accepts any existing file path and passes it to /bin/sh -c without requiring the documented .sh suffix. A valid authenticated account and a non-Windows alert server are required, and commands run with the service account privileges.
