CVE-2024-43059

Memory corruption via HGSL memory-node use-after-free

Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Mar 3, 2025

Use-after-free in Qualcomm Snapdragon HGSL affects listed chipset models and allows local users to corrupt memory through IOCTL calls. The HGSL memory-node IOCTL path accesses memory after it has been freed when processing calls from user space. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and can compromise device data and operation; Qualcomm has not disclosed finer implementation details.
