Authenticated cross-user view access via missing authorization
Published Aug 7, 2024 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Authorization bypass in Jenkins 2.470 and earlier and LTS 2.452.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access cross-account view data. The private-view HTTP target fails to verify account ownership or administrator status before dispatching requests into a selected account’s view collection. Overall/Read exposes cross-account view contents, while global View/Configure and View/Delete also permit changes or deletion.
