Unauthenticated code execution via FreeMarker template injection
Published Apr 1, 2026 · Updated Apr 1, 2026
Server-side template injection in JeecgBoot JimuReport 3.0.0 through 3.5.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The /jeecg-boot/jmreport/getQueryInfo endpoint passes insufficiently validated input into FreeMarker template processing, allowing malicious template directives to execute on the server. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants code execution in the server application's security context.
