Authenticated database access via unsanitized user filters
Published Jul 29, 2025 · Updated Jul 30, 2025
SQL injection in Piwigo 13.8.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data through user-list filters. The ws_user_gerList function in include/ws_functions/pwg.users.php incorporates max_level and min_register values into a user-search SQL query without sanitization. Access to the administrative user-list page is required, and crafted filter values can expose the executed query through a MySQL error or alter database operations.
