Arbitrary file deletion via unsanitized traversal path
Published Aug 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024
Path traversal in admin/del.php in ZZCMS 2023 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files. The deletion handler passes an insufficiently validated user-supplied path to its file-removal operation, so traversal sequences escape the intended directory. Administrative privileges are required, and deleting critical files can disrupt site operation or destroy hosted data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
