Credential disclosure via unauthenticated settings export
Published Aug 15, 2024 · Updated Oct 24, 2024
Incorrect authorization in TOTOLINK N350RT Firmware 9.3.5u.6139_B20201216 allows remote attackers to retrieve stored credentials. The ExportSettings.sh CGI endpoint returns the apmib settings archive without an authorization check, and decoded contents reveal the username and password. No authentication or user interaction is required; network access to the management interface is sufficient to disclose the router's stored administrative credentials.
