Stored XSS via unsanitized plugin settings
Published May 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored XSS in Sailthru Triggermail 1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through plugin settings. The settings page saves input without sanitization or output escaping and later renders the stored value in the administrative interface. Administrator-level access is required, and the script executes when the affected settings view is loaded even where unfiltered_html is disabled.
