Time synchronization interruption via peer-identity change

Denial of service in linuxptp 4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt time synchronization via crafted Pdelay_Req messages. The reported Pdelay processing disables a receiving port's synchronization after it accepts two requests carrying different clock identities. The sender must share the target's Ethernet network, and upstream developers dispute that the reported behavior constitutes a credible vulnerability.
