Playlist deletion via unprotected state-changing request

Published Aug 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in Kashipara Music Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to delete playlists through a victim's session. The /music/ajax.php?action=delete_playlist handler performs a state-changing deletion without validating request-specific anti-CSRF data. An authenticated user must submit the forged request, and the documented consequence is limited to deletion of the selected playlist.
