Authenticated script execution via reflected page parameter
Published Aug 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
Reflected XSS in Kashipara Group Music Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the page parameter. The /music/controller.php endpoint reflects the untrusted page query value into its HTML response without context-appropriate output encoding, causing crafted markup to be interpreted as script. Exploitation requires application access and a user to open the crafted URL; the script then runs in that user's browser within the application's origin.
