Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Aug 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Kashipara Group Music Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. The save_music action in /music/ajax.php accepts a crafted PHP file without restricting its dangerous type, leaving it executable by the web server. A low-privileged authenticated account is sufficient to upload and invoke the payload, which runs with the web server's privileges.
