Authenticated code execution via unrestricted playlist upload
Published Aug 21, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Kashipara Music Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code via a crafted playlist file. The save_playlist action in music/ajax.php accepts a PHP file supplied through the playlist workflow without rejecting its dangerous executable type. Playlist creation requires a logged-in user; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code with the web application's privileges.
