Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Aug 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Kashipara Group Music Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute PHP code through signup. The action=signup branch in /music/ajax.php accepts a crafted PHP upload without blocking its dangerous type and makes the file executable by the web server. No account or user interaction is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code with the web application's privileges.
