Stored script execution via unescaped room name
Published Aug 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2024
Stored XSS in Kashipara Hotel Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted room_name value. The edit-room controller stores the submitted value and later places it into an administrative page without output neutralization. High-privilege access is required to plant the value, and a separate user must view the affected page for the script to run in that user's browser context.
