Administrator RCE via unrestricted room-image upload
Published Aug 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Kashipara Hotel Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary server code. The /admin/add_room_controller.php handler accepts a PHP payload as a room image without server-side type enforcement and stores it in a web-accessible location. Administrator access is required; requesting the uploaded script executes commands with the web server process's permissions.
