Browser script execution via crafted URL
Published Nov 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 14, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Alto CMS 1.1.13 allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser through a crafted URL. The published proof of concept shows the request URL is rendered without neutralizing an embedded script, but no route, template, or function is disclosed. Exploitation requires a visitor to open the crafted URL; the script then runs in the Alto CMS origin and can read or alter browser-accessible content.
