Authenticated code execution via unchecked sub-task permissions
Published Aug 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024
Improper authorization in xuxueli XXL-JOB 2.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through a sub-task ID. The xxl-job-admin add and update paths accept a child job from another executor group without checking the logged-in user's permission for that child's job group. An ordinary account assigned only to one executor can link a hidden task on another executor, causing that task to run when the permitted parent task executes.
