Credential disclosure via plaintext login transmission

Missing transport encryption in Nepstech NTPL-XPON1GFEVN Firmware 1.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to capture login credentials over HTTP. The router management login transmits usernames and passwords through an unencrypted HTTP connection rather than protecting them with HTTPS. An attacker able to intercept management traffic can reuse the captured credentials to access the router interface; no integrity or service-interruption impact is reported.
