CVE-2024-42623Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Layout deletion via tokenless administrative POST

Published Aug 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 13, 2024

CSRF in Frog CMS 0.9.5 allows remote attackers to delete a layout by inducing an authenticated administrator to submit a crafted POST request. The LayoutController delete action accepts the layout identifier from the route and performs deletion without validating an anti-CSRF token or restricting the action to a protected request. Exploitation requires an administrator or developer session and user interaction; a successful request deletes the selected unused layout.
