Privilege escalation via tokenless group deletion
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 20, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Warehouse Inventory System 2.0 allows remote attackers to escalate privileges through an administrator. The delete_group.php endpoint accepts a group identifier from a GET request and deletes that user-group record without validating an anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires an authenticated privileged user's browser to issue the crafted request; the resulting deletion alters application access-control data.
